The short version
A cookie is a small piece of data a website asks your browser to store and send back on the next request. Most sites use them for three things: keeping you signed in, remembering preferences, and following you around the internet. We do the first two.
Browser storage we use
Two interface preferences are kept in your browser’s local storage rather than in a cookie, because the server has no reason to receive them. They never leave your device.

Hosted lead forms
If you are here because you filled in a form hosted by Swift Pivot on behalf of a home care agency: that page sets no cookies and no tracking identifiers. It stores only an appearance preference on your own device.
What the form does record when you submit it is described in the consent text on the form itself and in our Privacy Policy: the answers you gave, the page you submitted from, your IP address and the time — which together are the evidence that you agreed to be contacted.
The agency that published the form is the party responsible for the personal information in it. Contact them to have it corrected or removed, or write to us at contact@swift-pivot.com and we will put you in touch.
Controlling them
- Clearing them. Every browser can delete cookies and local storage for a site. Doing so signs you out and resets your appearance and sidebar preferences. Nothing else is lost.
- Blocking them. You may block cookies for this domain, but you will not be able to sign in. The public website — this page included — works perfectly well with cookies blocked.
- Do Not Track. We do not track you, so there is nothing for the signal to disable.
Changes to this notice
If we ever add a cookie — for example, an analytics tool — this page is updated before it ships, the date at the top changes, and any cookie that is not strictly necessary will ask for your consent first rather than appearing quietly.
